One of my favorite part of my job as an interior designer is when I score a great item for less, especially at antique marts, flea markets or even at discount stores. I recently scored an amazing faux fur throw for my little home office which is sloooowing coming along together (pictures to come very soon)

I love how vibrant and modern Devon Radziwill's Soho loft is. Her coffee table is made up of four sectionals pushed together and the colorful glass cups are from the Dior boutique. How pretty!

I wouldn't expect anything less than gorgeous from Matthew Williamson. His use of vibrant color and prints on clothes are already well known so it only makes sense that he translates the same aesthetics into his home.

Dinner at Kelly Wearstler's

I'm still pinching myself as I still can't believe I was at Kelly Wearstler's house, whom I have admired for so long, and has been one of my biggest design heroes every since I opened my eyes to interior design. I actually applied to the same college that she went to just because I wanted to follow in her footsteps although I ended up going to a different school.

Kelly is such a beautiful (and approachable!) woman, mother, and living icon, she even handwritten all of the bloggers' names, although she misspelt mine.. at least she pronounced it correctly!

I'm sure by now you have all seen pictures of Kelly's beautiful home, but if you haven't you can see them on her site Here and while you're there, be amazed by her new clothing line!

Killer Closets According to Lonny

and I wholeheartedly agree.. Once I'm back from New York (going to New York again on Tuesday!) I'm going to start organizing my new closet so I can finally share with you guys. I've been putting it off for too long!

Super Easy Chalkboard DIY

What you'll need: A pretty frame, thin board such as particle board to use as your chalkboard, primer, chalkboard paint, saw, and a roller to paint the board

1. Make a template of the board. If your frame already comes with a board, just use that and sand it so the surface is smooth

2. Saw the board. If you have a wonderful boyfriend like me, ask him to do it for you. (double plus if he cleans the saw dust too!)

3. Apply a coat of primer onto the board and when that dries, paint the board with chalkboard paint

4. Wait at least 3 full days before you start writing!

Warning: Don't start painting it on your skin wondering if you can be a human chalkboard.

*Update* I got my frame from the Fairfax Flea Market this day. See me looking pretty determined to bring the frame back home with me?
